What is MentionReach?
MentionReach is a tool for app and website makers that checks whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude recommend their product. It asks the assistants the questions real users ask, through the official APIs with live web search, then reports your visibility, average rank, share of voice versus competitors, the pages the assistants cite, and concrete fixes.
How much does MentionReach cost?
New accounts get 20 credits free, no card needed. After that, credits come in one-time packs (Starter: 300 credits for $24; Growth: 1,000 credits for $64; Pro: 3,000 credits for $159). There's no subscription and credits never expire. A typical scan (15 questions × 3 assistants × 3 runs each × 1 country) costs 135 credits.
What exactly is a credit?
One check: one question, asked to one assistant, in one country, once. A scan's cost is questions × assistants × runs × countries, and you always see it before you run.
Are answers ever reused?
Yes. An answer to the same question, from the same assistant, in the same country and run, can be reused for up to 24 hours. A reused answer still counts as a check and costs 1 credit.
Why ask the same question several times?
AI answers aren't deterministic: the same question can name different apps each time. Asking 3× (or 5×) and averaging gives you a number you can trust week to week.
Why might API answers differ from what I see in the ChatGPT app?
We use the official APIs with web search on. The consumer apps add personalization, memory and sometimes different models. Treat MentionReach as a consistent, directional trend, not a screenshot of one person's chat.
