Terms of Service

MentionReach asks AI assistants (currently ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude) questions about a product category through their official APIs and reports whether and how your product is mentioned, along with competitors, cited pages and suggested fixes.

AI answers vary between runs, models, countries and over time, and the consumer apps can answer differently from the APIs. Results are directional estimates, not guarantees of what any person will see. Suggested fixes are generated automatically and are not professional advice.

• You need a valid email address to sign in. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
• One free signup bonus per person. Creating accounts to collect extra free credits is not allowed.

• The Service runs on prepaid credits. One credit equals one check: one question asked to one assistant once, in one country. New accounts get 20 free credits.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Purchased credits don't expire while your account exists.
• The cost of a scan is shown before it runs. Credits for checks that fail on our side are refunded to your balance automatically.
• Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money, except as required by law.
• Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, taxes and receipts. Polar's own terms apply to the purchase.
• We may change pack prices for future purchases. Credits you already bought keep their value.

Refunds

If something went wrong with a purchase, email [email protected] within 14 days. We refund unused credit packs on request in that window. Packs that have been partly used may be refunded pro rata at our discretion. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer protection law.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything illegal, or to track products or content you're not allowed to promote;
• enter questions designed to make AI assistants produce harmful, hateful or sexual content;
• scrape, resell or bulk-export the Service, or access it through automation other than the features we provide;
• probe, overload or try to break the Service's security, or bypass rate limits;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your relationship with a product.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules. If we suspend you without fault on your side, we'll refund unused purchased credits.

You keep all rights to what you enter (product details, questions, competitors). You give us permission to process it to run the Service, which includes sending your questions to AI providers.

You may use the reports the Service produces for your own business, including sharing them publicly. AI-generated answers quoted in reports belong to whoever owns them under the providers' terms; we make no claim to them.

The Service itself, its software, design and brand belong to us.

The Service depends on providers such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Polar, Resend and Cloudflare. Their outages, model changes or policy changes can affect results or availability. We're not responsible for their services. See the Privacy Policy for what data they receive.

We aim to keep the Service running but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or remove features. If we shut the Service down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email and refund unused purchased credits.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of AI-generated content.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. Unused credits are forfeited when you delete your account, except where a refund applies under these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of mandatory laws and courts of the country you live in.

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll email you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
